Benefits of Church Management

It is important to say here that Good Church Management should never just fall to one individual. Our churches need lots of partners. We need active trustees, skilful treasurers, organised deacons and church roles that are given to the work of ministry behind the scenes, roles like church administrators and operation directors.

If you are still not convinced, then here are 10 benefits of great church management.

1.        Great Church Management helps protect the local church ministry by ensuring that the correct governance, policy and procedures are both established and implemented, meeting both the legal and operation deadlines.

2.    Great Church Management helps protect the Church by identifying and managing the risks that come with running a church, serving our members and folk in our local communities.

3.    Great Church Management helps protect and serve the Pastor or Leaders.

4.    Great Church Management represents the church to the world, having a good reputation with our communities is very important.

5.   Great Church Management allows the Pastor or Leaders to focus their attention on the preached word, prayer and pastoral care of its members.

6.    Great Church Management helps to build and maintain the right church structures to enable fellowship, discipleship and evangelism.

7.    Great Church Management recruits, trains and manages volunteers. It is the job of the pastor to equip the saint for ministry but it is our job to deploy and support volunteers.

8.    Great Church Management promotes, build and mobilises the vision of the church.

9.    Great Church Management makes the connection of the everyday tasks to the Gospel and God’s word.

10.  Great Church Management brings or identifies creative thinkers and problem solvers. It prepares, plans and replans.  It is able to anticipate change and having the tools to adapting and adjust.
