We at The Church Office hope you had a chance to rest over the Christmas break, pause for a bit and enjoy the glory of God come to us. And now we're back- welcome to 2026!

Looking at the year ahead, it's easy to feel daunted by the changes and challenges 2026 could bring. So as we start work again this year, be encouraged friend. God's grace is and will be sufficient for every situation we face this year, He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us and He will not be caught off-guard by anything we come across this year. We can face the months to come with hope and expectation that we will again see God's faithfulness displayed.

Remember this?

Before Christmas, we asked our subscribers to let us know how you'd seen God at work in your church in 2025 and you responded! We had plenty to praise God for as we read through your responses, from light bulb changes serving a church's budget and the environment to lots of new people coming to church in rural Suffolk. Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to respond, here's just a few below:

- A church in Malawi replied "We are currently planning to build a church. We secured a plot and plan was approved by the city assembly.  Building starts next year God willing".

- A baptist church in Dorset let us know they'd seen "a swell in the congregation numbers particularly younger members and families. During the year the church has added two new full-time appointees as Trainee Children's and Youth Worker and an Assistant Pastor."

- Another church hired a Full-Time Lead Pastor after struggles with holding a pastor for the past 6yrs in Indiana, US.

- A parish church in Wolverhampton are still awaiting a new vicar but are praising God for the congregation as they pray for a new vicar.

- In Cambridge, a church who had been raising funds for a building for a decade and after two years of hard work and renovation, have moved into their new church building.
