Wondering where to start with The Church Office podcast? Worried about missing out on some of our favourite episodes?

Here’s our top 5 podcast episodes…

1.     12 recommendations that help people to serve

One of the questions that we get asked a lot is ‘How can I recruit volunteers?’. In this podcast episode, Gavin sat down with a good friend of The Church Office, John Truscott to discuss this issue. And out of it came 12 recommendations that help people to serve.

2.     Good habits of a Church Administrator

When in doubt, ask your friends for help! Good Habits of a Church Administrator was a topic we tackled on ‘The Check-In’ survey last year where we asked our audience to send in their good habits and boy did we get some great responses!

3.     An interview with Terry Virgo

Gavin had the absolute pleasure of sitting down and chatting with Terry Virgo about the role church administration and our good friend Nigel Ring played in enabling his work and ministry to take place. What an amazing time!

4.     Where are you experiencing grace?

What an amazing pause point to stop and consider how God has been at work in our churches. Gavin took some time to chat with Lewis Roderick, one of the pastors of Christchurch Newport, and reflect on these experiences of God’s grace to us.

5.     Bad habits of a Church Administrator

From rushing too much to being a perfectionist, losing notebooks to feeling you have to be available 24/7, the list of bad habits we received was loooong. But what a comfort in knowing that God uses us even with some habits we’d rather not have. Listen in as Anna and Gavin talk through this topic.
