James has over 20 years’ experience as an employment lawyer and is the founder and Managing Partner of Slate Legal which he set up in 2016. Over the years, James has successfully acted for a number of high-profile employer and employee clients at all levels across England and Wales, covering a wide range of employment issues. James is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association, the Law Society and Monmouthshire Law Society. He is also a Member of Cardiff Employment Tribunal User Group and is an Associate of King’s College London. Outside of work, James enjoys being a dad to his three young energetic sons, hiking in the Brecon Beacons, windsurfing and, as a fluent French speaker and Francophile, holidaying in France.
